My Mission
With Silly Hands, I am committed to offering beautiful and long-lasting handmade pieces, as well as helping fellow creators to make their own version of my designs through my digital patterns. I want you to be able to express your creativity and vision, and I am open to making custom pieces that will fit you, regardless of size.
I am very committed to making Silly Hands as ethical and sustainable as possible, working with quality materials, and compensating my labor fairly.
Everything made by hand, whether knitted or crocheted or a combination of the two, is made slowly by my hands, stitch by stitch.
I want Silly Hands to be a space to express my creativity when working with fibres, in a transparent and inclusive matter.
By supporting this business, you are directly supporting me and my work, which I couldn’t be more grateful for.
For more information about me and the types of materials I work with, as well as my approach regarding sustainability, consult the About Me and the Ethics & Sustainability pages.
Future
I hope to be able to create my own yarn in the future. I would like to spin yarn from the wool I utilise and dye for my fine art practice. I would like to use it for new garments, as well as sell it here for all of you to further create whatever you desire.
I also aspire to create more knit and crochet patterns, so that you are able to create my designs ethically for yourself and your body, if you don't have the means to purchase them directly from me.
I am committed to trying to make Silly Hands a space as ethical and sustainable as possible, where the love for textiles, colour, and fibres is foregrounded.
In store
I have worked with Atelier Three, a designer store in London, 68 Redchurch street, Shoreditch, E2 7DP.
Working with Atelier Three and having my pieces in a physical store in London has been amazing.
I would love to work with different designers stores, so if you would like to stock some of my pieces in your store feel free to contact me.
