How do I wash my pieces?
I recommend handwashing with delicate detergent and laying flat to dry.
In some cases, it is possible to machine wash the piece on a delicate cycle. If this is not specifically mentioned in the description of your piece, handwash only.
I reccomand to wash less and air dry more, especially with wool garments!
How do dry my pieces?
Never put your piece in the drying machine. This could damage the fibres, especially when it comes to more delicate ones.
I would recommend always laying your piece flat to air dry, to prevent damage and stretching.
Can I put my pieces in the washer or dryer?
Never put your piece in the dryer, always air dry.
In some cases, you can machine wash your piece on a delicate cycle. If not specifically mentioned, handwash your piece with delicate detergent.
How do I store my pieces?
I recommend keeping pieces folded on a shelf, instead of hanging it up.
This will prevent pieces from stretching overtime.
How long does it take to have my digital pattern ready to download?
You will get an email confirmation as soon as you purchase the pattern.
I will send you the pattern within 24h. Unfortunately, my website doesn't allow for instant download, so I will need to manually send the pattern to you. This is why it will take a bit of time, but I'll send it to you as soon as I see your order!
If you haven't received your pattern within 24h, don't hesitate to contact me!
What are the measurements of the one modeling the pieces?
I usually wear a size S and I am 165 cm.
My measurements are:
Bust: 90cm / 36 in
Waist: 71 cm / 28 in
Hips: 100 cm / 39 in
Do you make pieces for my body?
I make clothes for all sizes via customs! When I feel inspired to make pieces, I tend to stick within xs-medium because I am the only body I have access to at the moment. This is both for trying on the piece and shooting, and those are the size I usually fit in. In the future, I would love to offer more size inclusive clothing and show them on bodies that are not mine.
I have an idea. Can I commission you?
You can commission me through the customs and commissions page.
I don't always have time to accept all commissions, but I'd love to hear your idea and make it in the future, if I can't accept it at the moment.
What materials do you use?
Each listing has the specificity of the materials used.
For more general informations about my material usage consult the Ethics & Sustainability page.
Can you remake something you've made before?
I can't always make pieces that are the exact same. This is because I may not be able to repurchase the same yarn, as I often collect yarn on my trips from small sellers. However, I can create a unique piece for you that is based on what I have previously made, sourcing yarn specifically for what you are looking for.
How often do you do drops?
Unfortunately, I do not have a schedule for when I do drops, as I am a full-time student and artist, and my schedule is flexible. Follow my Instagram for more updates on drops! (@silly.hands)
What is your return policy?
I completely understand if you want to return one of my pieces, as I want you to be happy with your purchase. For physical items, you can get a full refund within 14 days of receiving them, for any reason. This does not apply to digital items (patterns), custom-made orders, or if the items are worn, used, or damaged.
To get a refund, contact me through the contact me page. Shipping costs will be on your end. You will get a full refund within 14 days of my receipt of the returned pieces.
Do you collaborate with other artists and brands?
I would love to collaborate with more creatives in any form. If you have an idea and want to collaborate, contact me through my contact me page.
Where are you stocked?
I am currently only selling my physical pieces through my website.
I sell my patterns on my website, etsy, and kofi.
Where do you ship?
I ship physical pieces in the UK, the US, Switzerland, and almost everywhere expect for the EU. Digital patterns are available worldwide.
Why don't you ship to the Eu?
I am currently not shipping to the Eu due to new laws that apply to small businesses. I am one person and can't currently afford to have a EU representative, which is a very expensive and time consuming process to take on board.
I hope that I can change this in the future and be able to ship all over the world!
